Lucy is famously known for her television credits; in particular Danielle Harker in series 3 to 5 of BBC1’s Waterloo Road and Tilly Evans in Channel’s 4 popular soap Hollyoaks where she was nominated for a National Television Award for Best Serial Drama Performance.

In addition, Lucy’s other TV credits include starring as guest lead in Casualty, Doctors, Scott and Bailey – where she worked alongside Suranne Jones – Endeavour, Power of Poetry and last but not least Doreen Green’s unforgettable Granddaughter in the long-running, ever popular comedy show Birds of a Feather.

Lucy’s love for theatre has seen her cast as one of Shakespeare’s strongest female leads Portia in Shakespeare’s “Merchant of Venice” in London. Lucy has also performed professionally for Bill Kenwright as Karen Daniels in the 6 month National tour of “Rehearsal for Murder”.

Other theatre credits include Monkeywood Theatre in “Uprising”, Aladdin in “Aladdin” at Norwich Theatre Royal, and Snow White in “Snow White and the seven dwarfs” for New World Productions and Buxton Opera House
After moving home to Manchester from living in London – Lucy wants to share her knowledge, experience and love of acting with budding young performers. Her main aim is to make them fall in love with performing as Lucy did herself; to let themselves be free, have fun and gain confidence along the way. “Acting is simply playing make believe” Lucy says “which all children are naturally fantastic at already; I simply want to encourage that imagination and energy, for them to enjoy every moment!”
