Elaine learned to play music from the age of 7 and has gained qualifications in flute, piano and singing. She loves anything music-related, particularly Musical Theatre.

As an adult she studied Ballet, Tap and Ballroom and attained her IDTA Pre-Associate Tap Teaching Certificate, with Merit.

Her background is in education, and she believes that music and dance are a great way to develop skills for life, not just for the stage.

Elaine loves being part of the YSBD Family and loves to meet new students and watch them grow in confidence as performers.
