Amy began singing and dancing at the age of three. She attended the Cardwell Theatre School of Dance and Drama in Altrincham, Cheshire.
In 2002 she auditioned successfully for the Northern Ballet Theatre in Leeds and studied for two years as an Associate. At sixteen she received a scholarship to study for three years at Laine Theatre Arts. She became Head Girl in her final year and graduated in 2009 with a Diploma in Musical Theatre (Distinction).
Whilst at Laine Theatre Arts Amy was fortunate to take part in many musicals and plays. She was ‘Eliza Doolittle’ in My Fair Lady, ‘Carlotta Campion’ in Follies, ‘Ursula Merkle’ in Bye Bye Birdie and the narrator in ‘Teechers’..

Whilst working in the UK Amy has participated in various workshops with many famous choreographers including Wayne Sleep, Chris Baldock, David Nixon and Graeme Henderson. She has also had the privilege to work with one of Australia’s top choreographer’s, William A Forsythe. She was part of an inaugural cast that created and performed two brand new shows for the P&O Australia fleet.
Amy’s latest role is part of the creative team for the upcoming production company Jammy Shows and Productions. She has written and co written a variety of shows for their Cruise Vessels. Walking in a Winter Wonderland was currently shown onboard Tallink Romantica.
Amy has taught at many dance schools and academies across the UK. Some of these include Laine Theatre Arts Junior School, Cardwell Theatre School, Pauline Quirke Academy (PQA), Pearl Shaw School of Performing Arts, My Stage School and Mander Hall Academy of Performing Arts.
