YSBD were thrilled to be a part of the Cheadle Hulme Family Market. We had a fabulous time meeting new people and taking sign ups for our academy starting in September. Its going to be a very exciting term. Even Shine Bear made an appearance. He visited lots of the stalls and even met the fabulous Pepper Pig, Elsa and Spiderman.​ We are very excited to see everyone at the Handforth Paddock Family market on the 8th August. See you all there.  

The summer term theme of ‘At the Movies’ is well underway and the students have already started preparing for the presentation day in July. From The Great Gatsby to The Wiz and Les Miserables we have a wonderful showcase ready to present. The Main School and West End Masterclass presentation will take place on the 19th July 2015 from 12.45 to 2.00pm. Parents need to arrive at 12.30 ready for a 12.45 start.  Little Stars and Mini Stars classes are as normal. We are very fortunate and excited to have William Whelton Productions casting team visit our academy this term. They will be scouting for children to dance in Congleton’s Clonter Opera Theatre pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, this December.  Last year Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother were played by our very own Amy and Hannah.  The auditions are in September and will be a great opportunity for our students. Meet our fabulous Mini Stars and Little Stars Mascots Mini Stars (Sparkle) Little Stars (Shine) Each week one of our gorgeous Stars will be able to take their mascot home on an exciting adventure. The following week you can explain to the class all the fabulous things you did. You can upload any images onto our facebook page so our YSBD family can see.  Sparkle and Shine are very excited to go on lots of fabulous adventures with everyone.

We had our free trial on Sunday 26th April and are very proud to say it was a huge success. Lots of talented, smiling faces turned up to all classes and performed their own presentaions for family and friends at the end.  What they were able to achieve with our fabulous members of staff, in such a short space of time, was phenomenal. With full dance routines, two/three part harmony songs, improvisation and script work, we couldn't have been more proud of everyone who attended.  We are so excited
