Ian was born in Manchester and trained at The University of Sheffield.

Ian has performed in numerous plays including Edward Bond’s Lear and Howard Brenton’s The Romans In Britain (The Crucible Theatre, Sheffield), Mark in Coffee Mornings (Stoke Rep Theatre), Reverend Percy in Is Any Body There? (Middleborough Theatre), Uriah Goodridge in The Ghosts of Kirkdale (Unity Theatre, Liverpool), Adam in For God’s Sake (Bradford Playhouse) and Prince Charming in A Fractured Fairytale (Edinburgh Fringe Festival).

Other stage credits include playing Bedivere in Enchanted-The Musical (Valley Gardens) and Dean Martin in the UK tour of The Rat Pack Live At The Sands. Ian has toured as a lead vocalist in the European concert tour Pure Classics and in the UK tour Broadway and Beyond.

He has also worked as a production singer for Celebrity Cruises and as a guest act for Royal Caribbean Cruises.

Ian has performed in numerous pantomimes and as the Disney Princes in the Once Upon A Dream shows and parades at Disneyland Paris.

Ian works extensively as a presenter, most recently co-hosting the holiday programme Cruise First on Sky TV. He has appeared in ITV’s The Tonight Show and in numerous commercials for Haribo, Envirofone, TGI Friday’s and Renault.
